First National Bank Loan Officer, 64

Everard Deane Seely, 64, of 44 Fairbanks av., Wellesley Hills, a loan officer of the First National Bank of Boston, died at his home yesterday.

Mr. Seely attended Boston Latin and Harvard University.  He left college to enlist in the Army during World War I and was wounded in France.

A graduated of Rutgers University School of Banking, he taught at the American Institute of Banking.  He was also treasurer of the Boston Better Business Bureau and of the Society of the First Division.

He was a past president of the Wellesley Club and president of the Wellesley Players Club.  He was also a past master of the Dorchester Lodge of A.F.&A.M. Royal Arch Chapter.

Besides a wife, Lillian (Griffin), he leaves a sister, Mrs. Arthur Wright of Stoneham, and three daughters, Mrs. Royce Wilcox of South Glastonbury, Ct., Mrs. Richard Bourne of Medfield and Mrs. Robert Boole of Acton.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Newton Lower Falls.
