Seely, Esther M. (nee Palmer), age 94, passed peacefully at her home in Manhattan on Monday, March 25, 2013. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Glenn) Gill of Manhattan and Elaine (Ed) Kaske of Cicero; one son, Kendal Krapf of Oregon; four granddaughters, Annette Gill, Barbara (Matt) Steffen, Gwen (Ron) Johns and Misti Miller; three grandsons, Roger (Lori) Gill, Travis (Allyson) Krapf and Zachary Krapf; twelve great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Ellsworth and Effie Palmer; 1st husband, Irvin Krapf; 2nd husband, Robert Seely Jr.; and one sister, Shirley Odum. Esther was a resident of the Manhattan area her entire life. She worked as a beautician for 40 years in Joliet and Manhattan. A long-time member of the Manhattan United Methodist Church and UMW. She was a loving daughter and wife and a very dedicated mother and grandmother. Funeral service for Esther M. Seely will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Forsythe Funeral Home, Manhattan. Interment Green Garden Green View Cemetery, Green Garden. Memorials to the Manhattan United Methodist Church would be most appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
