Funeral Saturday for Life-Long Resident
Edwin J. Seely, 73, resident of Dallas County practically all his life, died Friday morning at a local hospital. He lived on Route 1, near Cedar Crest Country Club in the Seely addition. Mr. Seely was born in Mississippi but had lived in Dallas County since he was 10 years old. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Weever Funeral Chapel. The Rev. W.H. Wynn will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Walter Hillsman. Burial will be at old Oak Cliff Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife; five sons, C.G., S.J., E.T. and E.J. Seely, Jr., all of Dallas, and T.R. Seely of Houston; three daughters, Mrs. J.L. Ricker, Mrs. J.B. Pendergrass and Miss Mary Joe Seely; all of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. U.S. Rogers of Munday and Mrs. C.W. Anthony of Cleburne and a brother, Randall Seely of Chillicothe.
