Edward Lee Seely

JUSTIN – Edward Lee Seely, 57, an employee at the Arlington General Motors plant, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at a Denton hospital.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Justin. Burial: Justin Cemetery.

Memorials: Denton County Youth Fair Scholarship Fund, Box 249, Krum, Texas 76249.

Mr. Seely was born Oct. 4, 1943, in Justin. He graduated from Northwest High School and attended the University of North Texas. He married Katherine Blair Martin on June 9, 1970, in Dallas. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Justin. He was an Eagle Scout. He was active in the Denton County Livestock Association and was an order buyer for the Texas Livestock and Feeder Pens.

Survivors: Wife, Blair Seely of Justin; sons, Scott Seely and wife, Tammie, of Ardmore, Okla., and Mike Seely and wife, Tammy, of San Antonio; brother, George Seely of Justin; sisters, Wilma Webb of Justin and Sue Hays of Denton; and grandchildren, Courtney Nicole Seely of San Antonio and Trevor Scott Seely of Ardmore, Okla.
