Cordelia “Dede” J. Seely

Cordelia “Dede” J. Seely passed away with her family around her at home, Tuesday evening, November 20, 2007 following a long illness. She was born on November 26, 1936 in Patterson, NJ to Charles “Poppy” and Dorothy (Smith) Colman. She moved to Michigan in the early 60’s, raised her family, sold Avon and worked at Eagle Ottawa Leather Co. Dede cherished her time with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling, bowling and playing golf. She is survived by: 3 children, Bret G. Seely of Twin Lake, Michelle R. McDonald of Roosevelt Park and Rene’ L. Seely of Fruitport; 2 loving grandchildren, Hunter Victor and Kodiak Richard McDonald; 2 sisters, Georgia C. (Lyle) Porter of Lakewood, NY and Divian M. Bender of Atlanta, GA and many wonderful friends. A memorial service will be held at: The Lee Chapel
