Clifford Young Seely

1952 ~ 2010

Beloved Clifford Young Seely, age 57, died of heart failure on August 3, 2010, in Bountiful, Utah. Cliff was born in Navajo, AZ, on September 5th, 1952. His biological mother was from the Hopi tribe. At age two, he was lovingly adopted by Leslie (Junior) and Flora Seely of Redmond, Utah. He graduated from North Sevier High School. He managed Premium Oil on 21st South in Salt Lake for 21 years. The last 20 years he has been a master truck driver for Ralph Smith Co. driving doubles. For those 20 years he serpentined through Wasatch front traffic driving unit 437 without injury to anyone. He never had a work comp claim. Cliffy was highly esteemed by his peers for his work ethic, driving skills, and likeability. He was quiet, yet assertive. He had beautiful penmanship and was artistically gifted. We will all miss our friend. He is survived by his mother, Flora Seely of Cedar City, and Sister LaReta Blackham (Ron) of Mesa, AZ, and Brother Michael (Jackie) of Mona, Utah, and six nieces and nephews who adored their uncle. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie (Junior) in 2003. Viewing will be Sunday, August 8th, at the Bountiful Lindquist Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 727 N 400 E (Orchard Dr). Graveside service will be Monday August 9th at the Bountiful City Cemetery at 10:00 a.m., 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah.
