SOUTH BEND – Christine B. Seely, 48, passed away on Monday, March 17th, in North Liberty. Christine was born on July 25, 1959, in South Bend, to Joseph and Thelma (Packard) Stachowski. She is survived by her parents, Joseph and Thelma of North Liberty; her four children, Kimberly D. Seely of Valparaiso, Michelle E. Seely of North Liberty, Donald J. Seely of Bloomington and Benjamin D. Seely of North Liberty; four sisters, Kathleen Emerick of Goshen, Diane (Charles) Bates of Walkerton, Maryann Rutkowski of North Liberty and Cherylann (David) Wells of South Bend; seven brothers, John (Brenda) Stachowski of South Bend, Thomas Stachowski of North Liberty, Michael (Julie) Stachowski of New Carlisle, Paul Stachowski of North Liberty, Chief Petty Officer Anthony Stachowski of Maryland, Stephen (Melanie) Stachowski of Syracuse and Joseph M. Stachowski of Dayton, OH; and her maternal grandmother, Emma Packard of Denver, CO. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 21, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 22nd, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
