Carolyn Seely

CLAWSON – Carolyn Seely, age 79, passed away peacefully of complications from Alzheimer’s disease Jan. 18, 2008 in the Emery County Care and Rehab Center.

Carolyn was born Nov. 12, 1928 in Ayr, Neb., the daughter of Emery and Alda Woodworth. She married Guy Seely in 1965.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Carolyn worked as a bookkeeper at the Ferron Nursing Home, librarian at the Ferron Library, custodian at the Ferron Elementary School and guard at the Hunter power plant.

She was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed embroidery, needlepoint and a variety of crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Guy; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Kathy Aragon; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Michael Rice; daughter and son-in-law, Richelle and Randy Taylor; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and three nieces and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Pat Aragon; her two sisters and a niece.

The family expresses gratitude to the Emery County Care and Rehab Center.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2 p.m., at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, 720 North Center Street. A viewing will be from 1 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services at Fausett Mortuary. A second viewing will be Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 11 to 11:45 p.m. at the North Ogden 12th LDS Ward, 1791 North 600 East. Funeral services will follow at noon. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
