Carl N. Seely


Carl N. Seely, 56, of 2220 Olin Dr., bread salesman, who suffered a heart attack in a customer’s home on Clark St. Tuesday, died yesterday in St. Vincent’s Hospital.

A native of Columbus, Mr. Seely had lived in Toledo since boyhood  He played shortstop with the Page Dairy team several years in the old Toledo Baseball Federation.  Since 1941 he had been a salesman in East Toledo for the Sherlock Baking Co.  He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation.

Surviving are his wife, Luella; daughters, Mrs. Joyce Paxton, Mrs. Dorothy Kelley and Sandra Seely; sister, Mrs. G.E. Jewell; brother, Frank N. Seely, and four grandchildren, all of Toledo.

The Rev. Paul H. Buchholtz, pastor of Reformation Church, will conduct services Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the West Toledo Boyer-Van Wormer Mortuary.  Burial will be in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.  The body will be in the mortuary after noon tomorrow.

SEELY – CARL N., of 2220 Olin Dr., Feb. 10, age 56 years.  Survived by wife, Luella; daughters, Mrs. Joyce Paxton, Mrs. Dorothy Kelly, and Miss Sandra Seely, Toledo; brother Frank N. Seely; sister, Mrs. G.E. Jewell, Toledo; four grandchildren.  Friends may call at the Boyer-Van Wormer West Toledo Mortuary, 1119 Sylvania Ave., where services will be Monday, 2:30 p.m.  Interment Toledo Memorial Park.
