Carl E. Seely, 84 years young was born February 9, 1924 and passed away February 16, 2008. Carl served in the Navy during WWII and received a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston. He was employed by Dow Chemical Company for 33 years. Carl was a loving, loyal and considerate husband, father, and grandfather. Carl is survived by Beatrice Seely, wife of 55 happy years; daughters, Sherlyn Leger and husband George, Shannon Schiermann and husband Bob; son, Daryl Seely and wife Tammy. He is also survived by grandchildren, Tiffany Spears and husband Michael, Thomas Leger, Ian Sokolnik, Austen Sokolnik, Candice Campbell, Brandon Campbell and wife Brandie. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., with a funeral service at 12:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven on Thursday, February 21, 2008. Interment to follow in the Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
