Blanche A. Seely

CANTON – Blanche A. Seely, 70, of 1337 Cottage Place, Canton, a former Wooster resident, died on Tuesday evening at Aultman Hospital in Canton following a long illness.

Mass of the resurrection will be held on Friday, 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wooster. Burial will be made in Wooster Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Pim-Endres Funeral Home, Thursday, 7 – 9 p.m., where the rosary will be repeated at 8 p.m.

She was born March 17, 1906 in Niles, the daughter of David H. and Blanche Allen Bright. Mrs. Seely had worked as a licensed practical nurse at the Apple Creek State Institute and for many years at Horn’s Nursing Home.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Canton and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by a son, Harold N. of Apple Creek RD; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Sally) Lester of Clawson, Mich and Beverly Ann Seely of Canton with whom she made her home; eight grandchildren.

Her husband, Harold, died in 1952.

CANTON – Mass of the Resurrection for Blanche A. Seely was Friday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Stephen Shields as celebrant. Burial was at Wooster Cemetery. Pim-Endres Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
