AMERICUS SEELY OF WHITE HALL IS TAKEN BY DEATH
Funeral Services To Be Held Monday in Greene County
White Hall, Oct. 13. – Americus Seely age 84 years, passed away at his home on West Bridgeport street, this morning at 10:30 o’clock, following a lingering illness.
He was born on November 9, 1849, west of White Hall, the son of Stewart and Lannie Hodges Seely. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie Dugan Seely, one daughter, and three sons, Mrs. Frank Griswold, White Hall; Claude and Clifford Seely, White Hall and William Seely, Hillview. Claude Seely is Republican candidate for Sheriff from Greene county. He also leaves one brother, Frank Seely, of Salem, Oregon; one sister, Mrs. A.F. Lange, of Anchorage, Alaska, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the home. Burial will be in the White Hall cemetery.
