Alice Seely

Victims of an early morning crash, resulting when the car in which they were riding overturned after failing to negotiate a curve on the Midvale-Bingham highway, a Salt Lake City man and woman were killed and three other persons were injured Wednesday.

The dead were Alice Seely, 28, of 150 Main street, and Dallas Francis Brown Jr., 30, of 1424 Blaine avenue.

Funeral Scheduled

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Edgehill L.D.S. ward chapel, Fifteenth East street and Blaine avenue. Burial will be in City cemetery.

Miss Seeley was born in Mt. Pleasant and lived there until coming to Salt Lake City in 1933. She had since been employed as a beauty operator. She attended elementary schools at Mt. Pleasant and Brigham Young university.

Surviving are her stepmother, Mrs. Lena Seely of Mt. Pleasant; three sisters, Mrs. Adella S. Jorgensen of Castle Dale, Mrs. C.W. Beal of Manti and Miss Elva Seely of Mt. Pleasant, and five brothers, Justus O. Seely, mayor of Mt. Pleasant, and Reuel and Carlton Seely, also of Mt. Pleasant; Ray Seely of Moroni and Theron Seely of Preston, Idaho.

The body will be taken to Mt. Pleasant for funeral services and burial.
