Mrs. Carrie Seely, Once of Greene, Expires At Peoria

WHITE HALL – Mrs. Carrie Seely, formerly of White Hall, died at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her son, Clifford, in Peoria. She was the widow of Americus Seely.

She was born March 13, 1873, daughter of James and Mary Dugan.

Besides her son she leaves a stepdaughter, Mrs. Edith Griswold of White Hall, and A stepson, William Seely of Hillview. One stepson, Claude Seely, is deceased.

There are two grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren surviving.

Services will be held at the Dawdy Funeral Home in White Hall at 3 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Ben A. Bohn will officiate. He is pastor of the First Baptist Church, of which the decedent was a member.

Burial will be made in White Hall cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Seely, aged 79 years, 10 months and 14 days, were held Thursday afternoon, January 29, at 3:00 o’clock, at the Dawdy Funeral Home. The services were in charge of Rev. Ben A. Bohn, pastor of the First Baptist Church of this city, and interment was in the White Hall Cemetery. The deceased was born March 13, 1873, and was the daughter of James & Mary Dugan. She was a member of the White Hall First Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Americus Seely, who preceded her in death.
