Waldron-Seelye Vows Spoken

Miss Marlene J. Waldron and Wilber M. Seelye spoke their wedding vows Saturday afternoon in a candlelight ceremony in the Mary Sabina chapel of Central Methodist church.

Marlene, who resided at 325 W. Shiawassee st., is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Waldron of Temple.  The bridegroom, who is a Bradley university graduate, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilber Seelye of 1306 N. Genesee dr.

For her nuptials, the bride selected a waltz-length gown designed of white rose patterned lace over pale blue satin.  She carried a white prayer book topped with a white orchid.

Mrs. Janet Waldron of Greenville, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor.  She wore a blue taffeta gown fashioned with a blue lace overskirt and carried a bouquet of roses.

David Seelye was his brother’s best man.

For the ceremony, the church was decorated with white gladioli and fuji mums.

Marlene’s going away outfit was a brown tweed walking suit accented with rustcolored accessories.

A reception will be held Friday, Oct. 30, at Temple in the Redding township hall.  Guests will be friends and relatives of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. Goodrich of Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Edd Waldron of Temple, were special guests.
