Miss Thelma Seeley, formerly of Douglas but recently of Los Angeles, and Everett Hiatt of Douglas were quietly married in Bisbee on Wednesday, December 29, according to an announcement made by the bride’s mother, Mrs. Viola Seeley of Los Angeles.  The marriage is the culmination of a romance which began when both were students in the high school at Douglass.  Miss Seeley, Mr. Hiatt and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Evans motored to Bisbee for the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. Roland Butler of the First Baptist church.

Mr. Hiatt is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Hiatt is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Hiatt of Long Beach, and is connected with the investigation department of the Copper Queen smelter.  He and his bride will make their home in Douglas.
