Miss Florence Tuttle Seeley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Barnum Seeley of Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Waldemere avenue, was married on July 26 in Palm Beach to Ernest Ochsner DeBakey of Houston, Texas, the specialist, and Mrs. DeBakey.

The 2 o’clock ceremony took place in Bethesda-By-The-Sea with the Rev. James Anderson of St. John’s church, Arlington, Va., officiating.

Mr. Seeley gave his daughter in marriage.  Her gown of pearl de soie and heirloom lace was designed Empire mode, with a train.  She wore an heirloom lace veil which belonged to her great-grandmother, Mrs. Nathan Seeley, a daughter of P.T. Barnum and carried a variegated bouquet.

Miss Beverly B. Seeley served her sister as maid of honor and a cousin Miss Debora Nelson and Miss Dora Dixon were her bridesmaids.

Dr. DeBakey was best man for his son, and the bridegroom’s three brothers, Michael DeBakey of Lima, Peru, and Dennis and Barry DeBakey of Houston, ushered.  Edwin Benoit of Palm Beach was the ring bearer.

A reception at the home of the bride’s parents followed the ceremony after which the couple left for a honeymoon in Jamaica.

The bride, a graduate of the Emma Williard school, Troy, N.Y., also studies at Bucknell university in Lewisburg, Pa., and the University of Bridgeport.

She made her debut at the Junior League of Bridgeport Debutante ball in the summer of 1962 and at the Debutante Assembly and New Year’s ball in New York that winter.

Mr. DeBakey, an alumnus of the Judson school, Scottsdale, Ariz., attended North Texas State university and is enrolled at the University of Palm Beach.
