Couple Marry At Impressive Church Rite

Miss Doris Mae Barlow and Mr. Allard L. Seelye were married at noon Sunday in the Hawthorne Baptist church according to announcement made today.

Officiating at the double ring ceremony was the Rev. R.A. McKay and present were family members and close friends of the couple.

Mrs. Victor Woodiel was pianist and played incidental selections and the traditional wedding marches.

The bride chose for her wedding a gray pin-stripe suit, navy blue accessories and corsage of gardenias.

Mrs. Vivian Kamerman in soft blue suit with red rose corsage was matron of honor. Standing with the bridegroom was Mr. Ernest F. Quamtance of the navy.

After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. William H. Barlow honored their new son-in-law and daughter at a wedding dinner served in their F st. home.

The new Mrs. Seelye is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Barlow and was born in Goldfield Nev. She received her education in the Goldfield schools moving to Hawthorne with her parents in 1942. She was later a civil service employe at the naval ammunition depot.

Her bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Seelye of Kalispell, Mont. He recently returned from overseas having served over a year in the South Pacific with the navy. Previous to this he was stationed in Hawthorne.

Following a wedding trip to Lake Tahoe, Mr. and Mrs. Seelye will make their home in Seattle, Wash.
