Pam, age 60 of East Springfield, Pa., went home to be with the Lord late Sunday evening, December 20, 2009, with her hands being so lovingly held by her son, Andy, and her husband, Dave. Pam was born in Albion, Pa., on January 16, 1949, the daughter of the late Homer and Veronica (Magner) Seeley. Pam was a member of the Federated Church where she also helped with funeral dinners when needed. She was a devoted wife and mother of three children. She was a care giver for her son, Andrew for 29 years. She loved gardening and watching the blue birds outside her windows. She loved to cook and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan. Besides her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her half-sister, Mary Ella Erwin. Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, David G. Stafford, whom she married on July 21, 1967. She is also survived by one daughter, Christine and her husband, John Illig, of Edinboro, Pa.; and two sons, William Stafford and his fiancé, Janelle, of Saybrook, Ohio, and Andrew J. Stafford, of East Springfield. She is also survived by a brother, Roger Seeley and his wife, Betty, of Albion; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Family and Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, 11883 Main Street, East Springfield, Pa., and are invited to attend Life Celebration Services at the funeral home on Thursday, December 24, 2009, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ed Huntley, of the Federated Church, officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery, East Springfield, Pa. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Federated Church, P.O. Box 158, East Springfield, Pa., 16411.
